The Nigerian Business environment is very tasking, it takes the resilient to thrive and survive. While there are a plethora of theories and steps towards achieving success in a chosen line of business, the power of visibility and accessibility, is not mentioned enough.
When I read that the popular Korede Spaghetti had N1 billion turnover on Chowdeck, I had to re-evaluate my career 
. No disrespect to food vendors, but how on earth can a fastfood restaurant generate so much revenue in the spate of a few months. Because I had some knowledge about fastfood management (had a stint way back in 2008, as the acting training manager at one of Nigeria’s first QSR), I can estimate the number of footfalls to achieve this. This no means easy feat, as most high class QSRs we all know, will struggle pulling this kind of demand from just one touch point in a similar period. As Korede himself stated, he credited CHOWDECK with solving “80 percent of its logistics challenges,” enabling it to scale beyond campus walls to a broader customer base.

Korede’s figures can be traced to enhanced visibility that online platforms bring, as well as accessibility (as customers need not leave their offices/houses to patronize this food vendor. Likewise, the enhanced focus on preparing the food, compared to attending physically to customers is a sure relief for any Quick Service Restaurant Owner.
My take: Selling Online gives a business enhanced visibility, it’s similar to giving wings to a car to fly in the air. Likewise, the accessibility it gives, is similar to the transformation of a pedestrian walk path, to a 8-lane highway; the effect is so surreal. I guess na to go intern at Korede remain, make I become billionaire
